Ship likes:

Anything on my general likes list is excellent in shipfic too of course. Also, I am a pretty big fan of understated shipfic — if you just put the characters together and show that they care about each other then I don't even need kissing or anything, really, which I think can work well for fandoms where characters are frequently in life-or-death situations or need to be professional. Not that kissing isn't welcome! Just, I am extremely easy to please on the "Is this shippy enough?" front.
Slow burn, friends to lovers, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers — The slower the better. FWB-to-lovers is also great.
Characters who have history with each other — established relationships are good, but what I really love is feeling like the characters know each other well and think about each other often. In characters who are already friends, that probably looks like, say, knowing what kind of coffee the other person likes. In characters who were enemies, they probably know each other’s weaknesses and faults really well.
Arguments where each person thinks the conversation is about something subtly different — I mean, misunderstandings in general are great for tension, but I like it when characters are trying to communicate but they’re coming from perspectives so different that they can’t even argue without clarification.
Casual physical affection — a lot of my ships involve people who have massive or very specific personal bubbles, so seeing the way the characters touch each other when they’re not already in Kissing Mode is really great.
Pining, especially longstanding they-could-never-want-me pining — the id wants what the id wants and what the id wants is characters with low self-worth. Bonus points if it's tied up in some kind of misunderstanding about their relationship (eg, "They hate me!" or "I'm ugly!") or their differing rank/species/wealth/etc.
When their hands touch and other very understated moments of romantic or sexual tension — aaaaaaa I don't even have words for how much I love this, if you include it I will wail happily at you about it in my comment, possibly at length.

Smut likes

I don't usually request smut but if you want to include it then I don't mind. I know that that's kind of an extremely bland and unenthusiastic way to start out but it's, uh, really honest, at least? I'm usually after character interaction, plot, or worldbuilding with my requests, but getting a sex scene along with other stuff definitely wouldn't ruin a gift. Overall, I want you to feel free to write sex if you would enjoy doing so/if you think the fic will be better with it! I'm generally just enthused by my writer getting to have fun writing something they're proud of, you know?

There are obviously some things I do like, and I know some folks really enjoy tailoring their fic (i'm one of them!) so:

Extremely emotionally charged sex — No matter what kind of sex acts they do, I really love when the sex has a lot of feelings involved, especially if it's sad emotions or desperation or part of some hurt/comfort or whump.
Sex that's very directly relevant to the plot or character arcs — I love sex scenes where I learn more about a character or relationship. Is 'character driven smut' a thing? Because if so, that's my favorite. And also porn with plot.

Hoshigaki Kisame/Hatake Kakashi

What I like about this ship is that Kakashi and Kisame have obvious points of tension, but none of it feels particularly insurmountable or personal. I mean, ok, that whole "capturing Naruto" thing is a sticking point, but Kisame never manages it and no one dies (mostly) so them working through it feels interesting rather than impossible. I also think that both of them are people who value loyalty very highly and are, in their own ways, disillusioned with the village system...but obviously have chosen very different paths. Also, Kakashi is a sad dog man and Kisame is a big fighty shark dude and I just love them both?

Also also I guess I will say that I really love ships between dangerous people who have little reason to trust each other, so two extremely strong, suspicious ninja from different villages coming to trust and then even like each other goes straight to my id, and so does any ongoing tension over their loyalties and stuff!

Timelines: In terms of character timelines I'm open to pretty much everything! I really like Kisame as a missing nin and I think his time with the Akatsuki is really interesting, but I also really like Kirigakure worldbuilding and all of the characters associated with it, so something set before Kisame leaves or in a universe where he didn't would be good too! For Kakashi, basically the same thing — I love canon him and I would love canon divergent him — although I'm not very interested in fics where Kakashi is Hokage.

Enemies forced to work together —
- Konoha sends Kakashi for a mission where he has to work alongside Kisame and Kakashi can't help but eventually get his teamwork feels all over Kisame. Maybe the mission is prolonged or reoccuring?
- Captured by a third party or caught in a seal trap; anything where they're in acute, undeniable danger and must either put everything else aside to work together or die.
- The ninja equivalent of handcuffed together! Like...caught by Orochimaru and experimented on so now they can't be more than [a small amount of distance] from each other? Or something else! I'd just love to see Kakashi and Kisame do some good old fashioned prolonged teamwork. And fall in love. Maybe some kissing. No pressure.
AU where empathic soul bonds form during moments of extreme empathy — they're not soulmates and they're still ninja, but whoops they feel exactly the same thing at exactly the same time in close proximity to each other and become linked.
Missing nin Kakashi — Maybe he assassinated Hiruzen like Danzō wanted and Danzō turned around and, you know, labeled him a criminal? Maybe Kakashi is sent to infiltrate Akatsuki instead of Itachi?
Kakashi saves Kisame — they've been working together for awhile completely professionally but each knowing the other would most likely turn on them under the right circumstances. Kakashi takes the first step, pushing them towards something more, when he refuses to leave Kisame behind even though staging a rescue puts Kakashi at substantially more risk than just leaving him behind.
Kisame saves Kakashi — I mean, obviously I love Kakashi being the one to instigate, but what would it take Kisame to be the one to stick his neck out for Kakashi?
I wrote a Kisame/Kakashi fic one time and would take recursive fic of it.

Senju Tobirama/Hoshigaki Kisame

I guess why I like the idea of this ship is that A) it's blatantly nonsensical, honestly, it's delightfully ridiculous but B) I think if it were taken as seriously as possible and an earnest attempt was made a really really interesting fic could result. Kisame has a lot of Opinions about a village system that Tobirama more or less built, and I think that that could lead to some EXTREMELY interesting interactions. Plus, you know, Kisame's main contact with Konoha is through Itachi which means his has an incredibly different POV of it compared to most characters who typically meet Tobirama via time travel.

I don't mind mentions of past Kisame/Itachi and I have a very very low bar for what would be "shippy enough" for a weird ship like this. In fact, honestly, I would be pleased with gen interactions between them, too, so do that if you want.

Prompts:

Arranged Marriage — After traveling back in time, Kisame joined back up with the clan that has his bloodline. When Konoha forms, he lands himself a husband and his clan a place in a slightly better village.
Assassination Attempt(s) — After joining the village as a clanless ninja, Kisame distinguishes himself by preventing Tobirama's assassination. They they fall in love.
Enemies to Lovers — Kisame's thrilled to get a bunch of chances to try and kick Tobirama's ass. He didn't count on catching feelings, though.
Loyalty — Okay, nothing to add here, I just want to point at it and point at Kisame and make eyes at you about it.
Rescue — Kisame is pretty sure if he doesn't save Senju Tobirama there's a good chance Itachi will never be born.

Hoshigaki Kisame&/Uchiha Itachi

Sometimes when I think about Kisame I just get so emotional!!!! Especially when I think about him being sad Itachi was dead as he himself was dying oh my god ;-; he was so loyal and also a big fighty shark person who just wanted to kick ass and have people tell him the truth and I wish he and Itachi could have gotten a happy ending, especially because I am also frequently devastated when thinking about Itachi. Also definitely this paragraph from the Kisame/Kakashi section applies to this ship too: I really love ships between dangerous people who have little reason to trust each other, so two extremely strong, suspicious ninja from different villages coming to trust and then even like each other goes straight to my id, and so does any ongoing tension over their loyalties and stuff!

Maybe they do a sort of enemies-to-friends thing where Izuna realizes he's wrong...or maybe Izuna remains staunchly certain that Hashirama is his enemy! I would honestly enjoy either. Overall any kind of focus on how terrifying Hashirama is to other ninja/Izuna in particular would be wonderful, as well as any look at the sort of general suspicion and caution required in the warring clans era! Like, is it hard for Hashirama to trust Izuna? Is helping Izuna a difficult choice, despite Hashirama's dream?

I would enjoy anything from Hashirama and Izuna becoming friends despite Izuna's best efforts to Hashirama having to injure or kill Izuna for the sake of the village, so really go where your heart takes you!

Timeline: Pretty much anything would be good, pre- or post-village founding, but I usually like for characters to be 12 or older just because I don't find children very interesting to read about? On the other hand they're off being child soldiers at that age, so maybe it'd be good! I trust you.

Senju Tobirama/Uchiha Madara

This ship has just SUCH good potential for tension, conflict, politics, and iddy, iddy goodness. They're from two warring clans! They're at the center in a crazy shift in ideology and warfare! They're both hot! Listen, I could gush about them forever.

Tobirama and Madara have a really interesting contrast (eg, Tobirama is logical, keeps his emotions locked down, has a strong leaning towards analysis and systems...and meanwhile Madara is like a big huge hot mess of All The Feelings) and the fact that they were probably raised very differently and definitely raised on opposite sides of a longstanding conflict is hella good. Their thoughts on the village, their approaches to problem solving, and even probably their very fundamental belief systems are extremely different and that's the kind of thing that can lead to really interesting tension. What they do have in common (Hashirama, losing brothers, wanting to protect their clans, each at some point in some way genuinely believing in Konoha, probably PTSD from the whole child soldier thing) makes for an interesting foundation to build a relationship.

I'd love something that explores how hard it is for them to trust each other, especially when vulnerable. Any kind of focus on ninja being cautious, dangerous, suspicious, sneaky, and etc. I don't need/want them to be grimdark edgelords who assassinate kids once a week or anything, but just kind of...a general awareness that they've been at war their whole lives against the kind of enemies who use illusions, poison, infiltration, subtle manipulation, and any other means necessary to achieve their goals! I love that shit.

Levirate marriage — Tobirama was in an arranged marriage to Izuna (which was a terrible idea) who is now dead (which Tobirama definitely wasn't involved in, he promises) and now the marriage defaults to Madara.
Timeloop — One of them is in a timeloop and takes forever to ask the other one for help, and then maybe takes forever convincing the other one to help. Either or both of them in a time loop that has something to do with Izuna's death. Or: Tobirama has been looping for as long as he can remember and he's so tired, tired enough to finally refuse to fight because nothing else has worked.
Huddling for warmth — While visiting a cold climate — the mountains between Land of Fire and Land of Lightning? The northern, mountainous stretch of the Land of Wind? — one of them saves the other from freezing to death.
Taking a mission together — After the village comes together,an Uchiha child goes missing and Tobirama and Madara have to work together to find and rescue them.
Bloodline thieves — Bloodline theives make AMAZING antagonists, especially for pre-village stuff, because they can make these two work together :D so anything with them would be great. People trying to steal the Sharingan from Madara is obvious, but I'd also take bloodline thieves capturing Tobirama under the mistaken assumption that either A) he has the mokuton or B) his red lines are a powerful bloodline. Or maybe the aftermath of Tobirama rescuing Izuna from bloodline theives and Madara is ssssoooo thankful? :D :D :D

Senju Tobirama&/Uzumaki Mito

I started thinking about these two as a ship because it was nice to imagine Tobirama getting to be with someone who shares his interest in seals, and it seems like a nice direction to go to explore Mito's character! And the more I thought about it the more I wanted it, especially because of the delicious potential for misunderstandings and drama and tension.

When it comes to dealing with Mito's marriage to Hashirama, I am okay with (but don't kink on) infidelity, or Hashirama could be dead (earlier than in canon or otherwise), or Hashirama could be gay for Madara, or Hashirama and Mito could have an open relationship, or Hashirama and Tobirama could both be married to Mito at the same time. Or whatever! Live your dreams.

Of course, I would also be really into gen fic for them too!! I can't really bare to write a new section for them — it would basically just be an edited version of the above and most of the "Things I'd like to see explored" sections below, which I hope will work for you!

Timelines: Before Mito comes to the Senju, after Mito comes to the Senju, pre-village construction, post-village construction... I have no preferences although it'd be nice if Mito and Tobirama could be 18 or older. Don't be afraid to make them much older, like during Tobirama's tenure as Nidaime!

Things I'd like to see explored about Mito:

Did/does she want to get married to Hashirama? Did/does she want to get married at all?
How does she feel about the village before/during/after its construction? Who first told her about it? How much did she help with its construction?
Does she miss Uzushiogakure? Does she play her part in clan and international politics?
How hard is it for her to become adjusted to living with the Senju? How hard is it for them to become adjusted to her? Do her expectations line up with reality?
How does Mito feel about the Uchiha?

Things I'd like to see explored about Tobirama:

How does Tobirama feel about having another accomplished seal master around? Has he ever had so much opportunity to talk about seals before?
Do he and Mito use the same kind of sealing (maybe Tobirama was taught by the Uzumaki/from Uzumaki materials?) or do they use different sealing techniques (like maybe Tobirama is self-taught?)?
Does Tobirama desperately want a relationship but think he can't have one? Does he think he doesn't want one until he meets Mito? What do other people assume he thinks about sex/romance and are they right?
If Mito isn't a kunoichi (or, hasn't frequently fought/taken missions) how does Tobirama feel about being involved with her? — does he consider her vulnerable despite her sealing abilities?

Other Prompts:

- I'd prefer Tobirama to end up really into the sex even if he doesn't start out that way.
- I'm way more interested in guilt on Tobirama's part for fucking his brother's wife than I am for guilt on Mito's part for sleeping with someone other than his husband, but I'll take both or either!

Arranged marriage — I’ve always assumed that Mito and Hashirama’s marriage was arranged and also that Mito probably had a super expensive bride price.
- Maybe Tobirama’s mission pay over the years has mostly gone into the fund to get Hashirama a good wife? Maybe the Uzumaki find this out and Mito thinks she gets to pick between Hashirama and Tobirama? Maybe Mito finds out that that's why Tobirama isn't so much as engaged even years later?
- Mito accidentally falls in love with Tobirama during her engagement to Hashirama, something which Tobirama is maybe 100% oblivious about. She has to move carefully to switch her arranged marriage from Hashirama to Tobirama without insulting the Senju.
- Hashirama is busy with something so Tobirama is sent to pick Mito up and escort her to the Senju/the wedding venue. Mito spends the whole trip thinking Tobirama is her husband-to-be.
Levirate marriage — Since Mito’s bride price was so expensive/the Uzushio–Senju is so important, Mito isn’t allowed to go back to Uzushio if Hashirama dies or divorces her. She has to be married to a Senju, maybe one as closely related to Hashirama as possible. I would enjoy pretty much any variation on this, including but not limited to:
- Mito and Tobirama are forced to marry and both think it will go terribly, but grow to like each other
- Mito picks Tobirama as the best out of what she thinks are a lot of bad options

I mean, or set it before the village and have them need to trust each other to get through a join mission. Anything along these lines would be so delicious.

Senju Tobirama & Uchiha Izuna

I love how much these two hate each other and I especially love that Izuna was committed enough to hating the Senju that he literally died over it. Izuna was clearly, I think, a man of conviction and focus, and Tobirama had to match him on the battlefield and with strategy. It seems to me that Izuna and Tobbirama were probably similar in a lot of ways (suspicious, non-idealist younger brothers!) but I'm also interested in the ways they were probably different! Is Izuna a social butterfly where Tobirama is a shut-in? Does Izuna's temper run hot where Tobirama's runs cold? Does Izuna excel at quickly-adjusted tactics where Tobirama is more for long term strategy? There are so many directions for exploring their characters to go and I would love to see what you'll do with them.

Also, I'm not opposed to a fic where they don't hate each other, but I would really really love a sense that it was a hard-earned truce. I love that Warring Clans Era ninja lead dangerous, violent lives and I love that Izuna distrusted the Senju so much he died that horrible death, so I prefer not to see all that suspicion and caution swept away so easily. Even if they've grudgingly begun to work together and even maybe respect each other, I am very very into them each being ready for the other to try and kill them at any point.

I love Granny Wen and Uncle Four but I would also love to get to know other members of the little group! An excellent and stunning character! And also a horrible person, which just makes him better. Lockhart annoys his coworkers, endangers his students, ruins lives, lies, steals, probably cheats when possible, focuses only on himself, gives absolutely ludicrously terrible advice........... what more could you want to write about? Also, his various crimes were never made public and his victims never found, informed, or compensated, which is such a wonderful dangling thread to pull.

If you're looking for direction on my favorite characters — because some people do! — you really can't go wrong with Hermione, Luna, Harry, Draco, Ron, Sirius, or the Weasley twins... but really I'm here for Lockhart content! I would be delighted to receive different characters, OCs, and/or extremely minor canon characters. I have received fic for this prompt using characters not on that list and it was amazing. Whoever your fave is, whoever you think is most interesting? I'm sure they'll be great!

I really love to imagine these two as friends, because they seem to live on the same mountain! They're at least neighbors. In terms of fic I would love any kind of exploration of their first meeting and know if you think it was kind of a rocky start or what. In terms of art, I'd love to see their first meeting! Was it several decades ago and Hand Witch was still an old crone but dressed for the era? Was Multi-Bear a cub? Were the Manotaurs giving him a hard time?

I seem to remember that a lot of Lord Huron's Instagram posts were black and white ink sketches, and I would love to see anything in that kind of style — I mean obviously you can't control your style but idk, maybe you just did inktober and you're super pumped for more of the same?
I love the visuals in "Until the Night Turns" about the end of the world, a visitor, a sign in the midnight sky, etc.
The Phantom Riders, especially Johnnie, are favorites of mine! I'd love to see art that captures the wild and reckless and unrelenting feeling of "Hurricane", the events of "Dead Man's Hand", etc. (Although per my DNW: please do not actually illustrate the motorcycle accident in "Dead Man's Hand", I'm more interested in the events that occur after Buck Vernon rolls up on a dead body.)

Buck Vernon and Louisa

Buck Vernon is listed as the narrator for Dead Man’s Hand, Fool For Love, Cursed, and Louisa.

Dead Man's Hand has a really excellent, contained story about Buck Vernon trying to lay a dead guy to rest and I would just adore seeing any part of it written out narratively! I love the interpretation that the dead man is Johnnie (and I think that "there ain't no thrills in the afterlife" matches up very very well with lines in "Hurricane"!)
If you maybe don't want to write something as described in the song (which would be very reasonable) I'd love to see something where Buck and the dead man meet again.
Lily's point of view of Fool For Love would be great — what does Buck look like to her?
Buck's situation in Cursed seems extremely dire! How does he escape it — or is Cursed about Louisa, and Buck doesn't escape so much as eventually get too ensnared to escape? If so, maybe he could eventually be rescued by his friend the dead man?
Also, finally Lousia! An interpretation of the song where Buck is just being hyperbolic about how much he loves and appreciates Lousia would be good, of course, but if you're up to write about something where Lousia is a literal necromancer who raised Buck from the dead following the events of Fool For Love I'd adore that.

Francine Lu and Claude Fox

Francine Lu is listed as a narrator for Love Like Ghosts, Meet Me in the Woods, and The Night We Met. Meet Me In The Woods is also listed for Claude Fox. I'd love to know more about their relationship and more about Francine in general, who according to liner notes on The Night We Met is "an older woman who sings in a bar." (Also, her last name might be Lou? I don't actually own this album physically and the Genius notes vary.)

I'd love to get a fic about the night Francine and Claude met! I would also love to have it include time travel — does Francine tell herself not to right along with Claude, as the song suggests? To or from where was that ride?
I think there are a lot of really interesting ways to interpret these three songs (and maybe parts/themes of other songs) into fic and I don't want to do too much analysis to block anyone in, but I'd love anything that explores which of these two had the unrequited love, which of them left and saw terrible things and then came back changed, etc.
(Okay, also, I love the use of ghosts as a metaphor for love and I would also love something where one of them can see ghosts! I love the lines "All the spirits that I know I saw / Do you see no ghost in me at all?" for meaning something like "I see love everywhere, do you really think that I can't love?" while also basically meaning "Do I seem to have no soul?" especially in the context of some kind of romantic/sexual relationship.)

D. Redmayne and the Phantom Riders are listed as narrators for Until the Night Turns, Hurricane (Johnnie’s Theme), and The World Ender.

I would love to see a scene of the "visitor from the great beyond" coming to give the vision described in the first two verses and also the ensuing push to stay up until the world ends.
Johnnie is presumably a Phantom Rider and I really like the interpretation that he's both the dead man in Dead Man's Hand and that he's The World Ender — I know there's a comic book that kind of contradicts that interpretation, but Johnnie's POV in Hurricane matches up so wonderfully with the dead man's reasons for not wanting to be buried.
I'd also just love something about Johnnie coming "right on back" for the "little darlin'" the chorus is directed at.
It's not really clear how the Phantom Riders and the World Ender and Johnnie are exactly meant to relate, and I'd really love any kind of interpretation of it. I'd be interested in anything that handles the lines "I was 6 feet down, but something raised me up / Sent back for to lift my curse / I’m gonna get me a taste of some chaos first" — what curse? What lifted him up? If Johnnie isn't the World Ender, does he maybe have similar power, and can he oppose the World Ender? It seems like he might just to feel alive.
The narrator for Meet Me in the Woods isn't directly related to the events of Until the Night Turns, Hurricane (Johnnie’s Theme), and The World Ender, but I think the theme of coming back wrong and etc would be very interesting to play with.

Remy Fusil

Remy Fusil is listed as the narrator of La Belle Fleur Sauvage.

Remy is on a probably doomed quest for a legendary immortal beauty! What a dumbass.
I would love to know more about the immortal goddess this song describes and about Remy who thinks he can "pluck" her so that he can "love" her and then have her in his grave with him. I kind of suspect that this immortal lady up on her mountain will not be about that plan at all. Does Remy die? Does he get a darkened heart and phantom pains?
I also love that this ties into other themes on the album about going to places you shouldn't go, seeing places you shouldn't see, and getting yourself into trouble via love.

H.W. Justine

H.W. Justine is listed as the narrator of Frozen Pines. I don't have as many prompts for this song but It's actually my favorite on the album!

It's just so haunting and lonely and mysterious? The isolation and uncertainty are top-notch and I would love any fic that captured those.
I wonder who H.W. Justine/the narrator is waiting for, and what happened to them, and why all their friends are maybe dead, etc.
My brain has been on ghosts a lot recently and this song always makes me think the narrator is maybe a ghost.

"Way Out There" is listed as traditional, but it has a very strong narrator! I would be interested in the narrator being connected to the characters whose POVs are explored in other parts of the album, but I would also be interested in something that only concerns itself with the one song. Whatever you like best!

I think that the themes of wandering/travel, and "running through life and cruising toward death" are very relevant to the rest of the album, and I also definitely think its position between "Cursed" and "Lousia" are very interesting! Okay, I'm beginning to think that I won't really have anything helpful to say in this section because just pointing at things and saying, "My! How interesting! Make me a fic about that!" is a bit useless. I'm simply very curious about the narrator! Tell me some things about him or her!

This first person address of some person who's apparently SERIOUSLY fucked up has got me SO desperate to know more and I deeply hope you will indulge me in answering questions like:

Who is the fool and what rule(s) did they break? Did they know they were breaking the rules? Did they know the consequences?
Who and what is the narrator???? Omg. A god or spirit? A guardian of some kind? Something else entirely?
What is the yawning grave, what kind of evil things are in the darkness, and what exactly will the reckoning entail?
I am IN LOVE with the narrator straight up being like "I am coming for you" and very desperate to know if you think the narrator is one of the evil things being brought or if the narrator wants to stop the evil things or what.
The narrator seems, you know, very inhuman, so I wonder if the fool simply didn't recognize the warnings and "omens and all kinds of signs"?

Also, I think the podcast directly throws out the Jar Jar Binks stuff from that Clone Wars cartoon, but if you want to cherry pick from it anyway that's fine — I won't notice!

On the other hand, maybe you're sitting there like "wow, fence has seen most of the movies? I've literally never seen any of them!" but damn do you love hasty summaries of political thrillers...in which case I absolutely support you. It's very silly that THIS is the Star Wars thing I finally latch onto and want fanfiction of but I really can't help it because every single part of this podcast really smacked me right in the id. SAD TRAGIC POLITICAL THRILLER? Sign me the fuck up. I love Jar Jar Binks starting out like "Well, fuck, the guy I owed a life debt to beefed it" and everyone thinking he's useless and annoying, I love him being manipulated by Palpatine, I love him being a Secret Rebel that No One Knows About, and I love him fucking dying tragically and everyone still hates him. Every SINGLE part of it is SO delicious and if this were a real movie that really existed I would join the Star Wars fandom with bells on.

...but instead it's a weird summary by three dudes, so we're here instead!

I am interested in both "canon compliant" fic (ie, fic that just follows and fleshes out the plot laid down in the podfic) and "canon divergent" fic (ie, fic that diverges from the plot laid out in the podfic) that explores this interpretation of Jar Jar Binks' characterization and/or gets into the nitty gritty worldbuilding details and/or gives me all the feels. I don't require a happy ending and I don't require the fic be from Jar Jar Binks' point of view, as long as it hella focuses on Jar Jar Binks. For example, a 10,000 word fic from the POV of Darth Vader focused on them being the worst buddy cops in the history of the galaxy would be fine. Actually, it sounds amazing. Here are some other things I think might be neat:

Five mistakes Jar Jar Binks makes and one he doesn't/one he fixes.
Canon divergence where somehow Jar Jar Binks succeeds in his assasination attempt even though he kind of meant to fail it.
Canon divergence where specifically Jar Jar Binks manages to talk Anakin off of the Being Super Evil ledge!
Time travel fix-it — Jar Jar Binks is killed by Darth Vader and then travels back in time to try and do it better.
Time travel fix-it — Darth Vader does the traveling back in time! And maybe slowly realizes he has to rely on Jar Jar Binks' dubious political clout!
Worst Ever Buddy Cops Jar Jar Binks and Darth Vader go on a harrowing life changing field trip together where everything is tense and they're enemies and it's a game of cat and mouse but oh, also, their lives are in danger and they have a complex history where they used to be friends and stuff!
For [handwaves] reasons, Darth Vader is in a timeloop. Does killing Jar Jar Binks get easier or harder?
I think that guy Jar Jar Binks owed his life to can be a spooky magical ghost in Star Wars canon? Spooky magical ghost fic would be WONDERFUL. Also I guess anything about that guy and Jar Jar Binks' relationship!
Jar Jar Binks & random Gungan resistance OCs! Jar Jar Binks & sweet sweet political intrigue! Jar Jar Binks & being a really REALLY weird politician, probably especially for his aides and/or other subordinates.
I love the stupid minutiae of government, like infastructure and zoning and public comment periods and paperwork, so Jar Jar Binks dealing with any of that would be wonderful.

...but anyway I think about tragic still-kind-of-a-loser politician Jar Jar Binks who has no friends and dies hated by the very people he sacrificed himself for a lot and if you listen to the podcast and also have many Thoughts I am sure I'll enjoy whatever you write even if it's not specifically anything prompted above!
